As June approaches, over 20 Chattanooga companies prepare for the inaugural Corporate Challenge Chattanooga at Finley Stadium and First Horizon Pavilion June 6-8th. Corporate Challenge is a large, corporate, field day-style event, where companies from across the city come together to compete in games like dodgeball, cornhole, tug of war, trivia, and more. Knight Eady began the event in Birmingham, Ala. in 2015 and has since grown the franchise to two cities and over 70 participating companies across both cities.
Corporate Challenge allows the corporate community to show off their competitive sides while also cultivating and growing company culture. In addition to boosting corporate cultures and networking opportunities with other local businesses, Corporate Challenge has a philanthropic impact on the local community through nonprofit partnerships; Big Brothers Big Sisters in Chattanooga and Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.
“Our team at Knight Eady can’t wait to expand into the Chattanooga area,” said Summer Hall, Knight Eady director of culture and Corporate Challenge team director. “Corporate Challenge is the perfect way for companies to step away from the office and pour into their corporate culture while also networking with other local businesses. The Birmingham event has shown us that companies of all sizes and industries are able to see direct benefits from participating and we’re eager to provide Chattanooga the same outlet.”
The three-day event comes to Chattanooga following the success of Corporate Challenge’s flagship event in Birmingham, Alabama. Owned and operated by Knight Eady, Corporate Challenge Birmingham boasts over 50 participating companies and draws over 3,000 attendees each year.
The Chattanooga company roster includes companies like BlueCross BlueShield of Chattanooga, Chattanooga Gas, Unum Group, Steam Logistics, Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel P.C., Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Smith + Howard, Tennessee Aquarium, Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, and more.
