In its first year under new title sponsor, The HomeTown Lenders Championship contributed over $1,300,000 to the Huntsville economy. The week-long Korn Ferry Tour event held at The Ledges brought professional golfers, caddies and fans from across the world to Huntsville.
“Having an event like this in our backyard puts Huntsville on the map as a sports city,” said Cline Thompson, vice president of Huntsville business development at Knight Eady, the host institution of the HomeTown Lenders Championship. “This tournament brings hundreds of golfers, caddies, PGA TOUR staff and fans from around the world to Huntsville. I’m proud of the city for showing up for the HomeTown Lenders Championship and eager to see how this tournament grows.”
312 golfers and caddies were a part of the 2023 tournament that drew nearly 7,500 fans over the course of the week.
