Event Marketing Internship

Role Description

This position, under the supervision of the Strategy Director and Strategy department, will support the entire portfolio of Knight Eady clients and events.

  • Collaborate with the agency services team, account managers and event directors on strategy, marketing and communications projects, managing timelines, creative team and final project delivery
  • Create and curate engaging marketing and communications content including but not limited to press releases, blog posts, social media content, press events, etc
  • Build and update media lists for press material distribution. Distribute and follow up with media lists
  • Serve the media relations and larger KE team on-site at events providing media operations, social media support and other duties as assigned*
    *subject to event schedule- Spring 2025 Interns will have the opportunity to work on-site at AHSAA State Finals, Conference USA Basketball Championships, NCAA Women's March Madness and more.
  • Create research-driven social media strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary content. Execute and analyze social media strategies.
  • Research, ideate and execute grassroots marketing strategies to strengthen the presence of clients and events in the local community
  • Provide innovative and refreshed ideas for assigned accounts based on research and current trends
  • Deliver work of the highest quality after working with team members to develop new ideas
  • Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously while maintaining each unique brand voice and tracking on individual client goals
  • Work with Strategy Director and Strategists to establish new skills and insights
  • Keep management in the loop and effectively escalate roadblocks when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
