A primary goal was to create a brand system for Vestavia Hills High School that would later evolve to include the system as a whole. This comprehensive effort encompassed multiple phases, including data collection, strategy development, and the creation of new visual elements to better reflect the school's identity and community values.
After meeting with community members and stakeholders, one saying stood out above the rest and would serve as an ode to long time football coach, Buddy Anderson. The “You play one Rebel you play us all” slogan and 1REBEL marks are supplementary graphic identities of Vestavia Hills High School and all Vestavia Hills High School affiliated teams or organizations, yet the concept speaks to the school’s longstanding reputation as united, supportive and spirited.

These guidelines are in place to protect the brand of Vestavia Hills High School. Consistency among all of the various facets of Vestavia Hills High School protects the strength of the brand and solidifies name recognition. It is the role of the brand stakeholders to uphold the brand standards and protect the image perception of Vestavia Hills High School.
