When the best of the best come to town, you have to keep pace. Without an official partnership, City Gear needed a plan to leverage the pinnacle trifecta of their customers’ core interests to drive traffic to their local store. So Knight Eady took the court.
The event featured a custom mural by a local artist, adding a unique creative touch that captivated attendees. Live shoe customization offered guests a chance to personalize their kicks, with plenty of photo ops.
A DJ kept the energy high with an electric mix of tunes, and a local food truck ensured everyone had plenty to eat.
The event included a celebration of City Gear’s Sole School Program, an initiative that helps to fund athletics programs at underfunded schools in the local markets while helping to provide career preparation and mentorship. To celebrate the expansion into the Indianapolis market, Pacer’s star Myles Turner made an appearance for an exclusive Q&A session with the invited students and attendees.
The highlight of the event was a social-entry giveaway of free shoes, which drew a great crowd, flooded social feeds and created an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie.
